[edit]From earlier *dewį̄(t)-ná-suta, ultimately from Proto-Balto-Slavic *newin(t)śumta, from Proto-Indo-European *h₁néwn̥(d)ḱm̥tóm, from *h₁néwn̥dḱomt (“90”), from *h₁néwn̥ (“nine”) + *déḱm̥ (“ten”).
