Usage Notes

1. In stems with final -n, either the form -i or the form -yi can be used, in which case the final -n falls.

   ‎*morïn (“horse”) + ‎*-i → ‎*morïnï (“the horse(accusative)”) or ‎*morïn (“horse”) + ‎*-i → ‎*morïyï (“the horse(accusative)”)
