[edit]The word appears to be absent in Georgian. Seemingly similar words exist in Northeast Caucasian languages: compare Chechen зуда (zuda, “female”), жеро (žero, “widow”), Ingush зуда (zuda, “bitch”), жеро (žero, “widow”), Bats ჟერო̆ (žerŏ, “widow”), Lak гужа (guža, “bitch”).
