Reconstruction:Proto-Kartvelian/zamax-
Appearance
Proto-Kartvelian
[edit]Reconstruction
[edit]Uncertain. Supposedly from *za- (“year, season”) + *max- (“new, fresh”). Attested only in Svan, however a Mingrelian cognate is possibly found through internal reconstruction where ზო (zo) ← Proto-Kartvelian *za- is regular.
Noun
