Etymology
[edit]From Proto-Sino-Tibetan *d/s-kəw. Benedict (1987) reconstructs *t-guᴬ for "Donor-Miao-Yao" (the Tibeto-Burman language that was the source of the Proto-Hmong-Mien word).[2]
