Proto-Finnic
[edit]Etymology
[edit]Unknown. Possibly someway derived from *vaka or *vakka, or alternatively, borrowed from Proto-Baltic *vaikas (whence Lithuanian vaikas), but this is uncertain due to the phonetic issues.
