Possibly akin to Udmurt кӧт (köt, belly, stomach, body cavity), кӧто (köto, pregnant), Komi-Permyak кӧта (köta, pregnant (of cow)); a common Proto-Finno-Permic root *koktɜ could be reconstructed.
