Reconstruction notes
[edit]- De Bernardo Stempel's reconstruction of an s-stem declension in this word[2] is to be preferred over Matasović's o-stem given how Ancient Greek κῆδος (kêdos) and Proto-Germanic *hataz are also s-stems.
