  2. blot

Usage notes

[edit]
  • Attested in late copies of Old Norse texts from after the end of Norse as a living language, where earlier (Norse-era) copies of the texts have words like flekkr, such that it cannot be ruled out that the occurrence of blett(r) in the later copies is only due to the influence of Icelandic (or Faroese).
