[edit]- (district of Toulouse): After capitoul Louis-François de Rangueil who built a castle there in the 18th century.
- (surname): Borrowed from Occitan Ranguèlh. Apparently extinct[1] although Forebears.io mentions one occurrence in the Hauts-de-France region.[2]
