  1. Extinct language formerly spoken in northeastern Mexico.
    • 1990, the University of California, Indians of the Rio Grande delta, the University of California, page 77:
      As the Quinigua language appears to have been spoken in the Monterrey-Cadereyta-Cerralvo area of Nuevo León, Quedejeños could be a Quinigua name applied to a more easterly Indian group that did not speak Quinigua.
