Etymology
[edit]From pseudo- (“false”) + -morpha f (“shape”), literally “false shape”, from Ancient Greek ψευδής m or f (pseudḗs, “false, lying”) and Ancient Greek μορφή f (morphḗ, “shape, form”). Cognate with English pseudomorph.
