Etymology

[edit]

From Welsh pont.

Proper noun

[edit]

Pont-Henri

  1. A village in Llanelli Rural community, Carmarthenshire, Wales (OS grid ref SN4709).

Usage notes

[edit]

Why the "Henri" spelling is used is unclear. A 1952 OS map used the spelling Pont-Herry, but that may have been a typographical error.
