Proper noun
[edit]- A taxonomic species within the family Blaberidae – Australian wood cockroach, found from south east Queensland south to the east coast to Tasmania, also seen at Norfolk Island.
Usage notes
[edit]There is another cockroach (Panesthia australis) with the common name "Australian wood cockroach".
