1. Certain of the Chromista, formerly considered protists, that feed by myzocytosis, sucking nutrients from within the cell walls of their prey, and their close relatives.
   1. A taxonomic phylum within the infrakingdom Alveolata.
   2. A taxonomic subphylum within the phylum Miozoa.
