@Kamkamkamuti Hi, I was wondering about your edit here, because I don't really encounter 引媽 in the Philippines. As for "阿媽", the first syllable, I always hear it as a rising tone (due to sandhi). Hi there, one side of my family uses 引媽, and 引公, while the other uses 俺媽 and 俺公. We don't use 阿媽 at all. I used to think we said 阿媽 [á-má], but I confirmed with my grandmother and she said that we actually said [án-má] (which I believe turns into [ám-má] due to assimilation). I'm not too sure about this and I don't have any sources to confirm this, but I recently started speculating that since most people say 俺公, then they should be saying 俺媽 too, and 阿媽 may just be a corruption. As for 引媽 and 引公, I suspect it might be more common outside Manila. If I'm not mistaken, there's even a Kapampangan word called "ingkung" that means grandfather, so I suspect there are other people in the Philippines who use these.
