Khoe languages

[edit]

Could we add the ancestors of Nama? I plan on adding more entries for Nama, as well as another Khoe language Naro. This page shows the Khoe family tree. Smashhoof (talk) 04:02, 23 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Daicritic removal

[edit]

@Metaknowledge Please add the same diacritic removal functions from nci to nah. MiguelX413 (talk) 02:24, 17 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

@MiguelX413: Why? That code is for the macrolanguage, has no entries, and is (I believe) being phased out. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 02:26, 17 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Metaknowledge: Wiktionary:About Classical Nahuatl says that I shouldn't link straight to Classical Nahuatl for etymology unless I'm certain it's from it. MiguelX413 (talk) 02:28, 17 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
@MiguelX413: That page seems like it's unfinished, and may not reflect current consensus. I advise you to talk to other editors working on Nahuatl languages instead. In the mean time, if you don't know which language a word is from, you could use always use the Nahuan family code, azc-nah. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 02:30, 17 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Metaknowledge: I can't link to specific words if I use azc-nah. MiguelX413 (talk) 02:37, 17 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
If you don't know which language the words are in, you shouldn't be linking to specific words in the first place. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 03:11, 17 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Naga pidgin

[edit]

Hello, please replace "Naga pidgin" with "Nagamese". The language is only called Nagamese now. And it's technically a creole, not a pidgin because it has native speakers. Msasag (talk) 04:29, 4 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Surjection: Please change the language name to ‘Nagamese’ in Module:languages. Thanks. ·~ dictátor·mundꟾ 20:02, 17 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
