Redundant div

[edit]

@Enoshd: That redundant div had a purpose, although maybe not a very important one. It made it so that consecutive tables would display on separate lines. Without it, if you have two consecutive tables, they will show up next to each other. If you know of any other way to do this without the redundant div, I'd be happy to know. --WikiTiki89 20:21, 29 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Got it. It's incredible how hard it is to figure out how to do simple things with CSS. —Enosh (talk) 20:59, 29 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
@Enoshd: It's broken; it makes the following content appear on the same line (see בן). --WikiTiki89 21:19, 29 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
I actually think wrapping it in a div is the actual correct solution. The question is how do we get the sidebar links to work when it is inside a div. --WikiTiki89 21:24, 29 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
Oops, I was checking against your test page. We might be able to have float and clear set to inherit and wrap a div with float: right; clear: both around the calls in the test page. —Enosh (talk) 22:50, 29 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
I think using floats is a bad idea. --WikiTiki89 22:58, 29 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
Invisible hr? I don't know how much of "a thematic break between paragraph-level elements" (Mozilla) this is, but it looks okay and my screen reader doesn't have problems with it. —Enosh (talk) 08:05, 30 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
It's not the right thing. In fact there should not be any break at all. Again, I will say that I think wrapping with a div is the absolute correct and desirable solution, and we should get the sidebar links to work with that approach. --WikiTiki89 14:57, 30 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
