Errors

[edit]

@Kc kennylau: Your recent edit caused some module errors, for instance in Proto-Celtic *tarwos (before my edit to Proto-Brythonic *tarw). I thought there was something wrong with your code, but actually the problem is that some Proto-Brythonic pages have the incorrect heading Proto-Celtic. This was not noticed by the module until you forced it to, by using the variable index to find a second language heading after the first.

Is there a bot that could correct these incorrect headings? — Eru·tuon 02:19, 5 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Actually, there might not be any more incorrect headings, since CAT:E doesn't have any Proto-Brythonic entries at the moment. — Eru·tuon 02:23, 5 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Add param

[edit]

Trying to add a calque parameter, obviously doing many things wrong. I'd appreciate for someone with more competence in Lua to add it.@Erutuon. — Julia 00:43, 22 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Julia: There! I only had to make one simple modification to your code. — Eru·tuon 01:14, 22 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Using the template parser

[edit]

@Benwing2 This seems like a good candidate for being rewritten to take full advantage of the template parser, which should cut down on lots of the work it's doing at the moment. What do you think? Theknightwho (talk) 03:31, 11 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Theknightwho Agreed. It looks like currently it uses the template parser in some places, but in other places it rolls its own parsing code. I think the reason for this is that the ad-hoc parsing code is older, and the template parser code was added later. Benwing2 (talk) 03:36, 11 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Benwing2 Module:transclude is another one, now I think about it. Theknightwho (talk) 03:38, 11 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Theknightwho Indeed. Benwing2 (talk) 03:40, 11 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
