Etymology

From מִיכַיְהוּ (mīḵāyᵊhū, who is like Yahweh). The name Micah is a shortened form, such as in the book of the Bible (Hebrew מִיכָה (mīḵāh)) or the Ephraimite meantioned in Judges 17-18.
