    's war schu finster, wie dr Oskar zer Peitsch griff, oder dr Manden stand voll un rund dran Himmel. Daar sorget derfür, doß Waag un Wald deitlich ze derkenne warn.
    It was already dark when Oskar grabbed his whip, but the moon was full and round in the sky. It made sure that the path and the forest were clearly visible.
