Lybster

  1. A coastal village in Caithness, Highland council area, Scotland (OS grid ref ND2435).
    • 1980, AA Book of British Villages, Drive Publications Ltd, page 270:
      The harbour was the base for more than 100 boats, and Lybster became the headquarters of one of the 26 fishery districts into which Scotland was divided, controlling the neighbouring harbours of Forse and Clyth and Latheronwheel.
