L-xylulokinase (countable and uncountable, plural L-xylulokinases)

  1. (biochemistry) An enzyme that catalyzes ATP (adenosine triphosphate) and L-xylulose, producing ADP (adenosine diphosphate) and L-xylulose 5-phosphate. It's a phosphotransferase used in metabolism.
