[edit]- A notation used to characterize queueing systems.
- Originally, "A/S/c", with "A" the arrival process, "S" the distribution of service time required, and "c" the number of servers.
- Extended, "A/S/c/K/N/D", the above, plus "K" the number of places in the queue, "N" the size of the population, and "D" the service discipline.
