[edit]Coined in the 1970s by Nancy Ann Tappe, a synaesthete who claimed to perceive most children under the age of ten with an indigo aura.

- (New Age) A child believed to be the next stage of human evolution; believed to have paranormal abilities like telepathy, or to be more empathic, independent, and creative than his or her peers.
