From Serbo-Croatian Gornja Siga. Literally, upper tufa.

  1. A region, a terra nullius on the west shore floodplain of the Danube, Europe, between Croatia and Serbia, declared to be Serbian by Croatia and Croatian by Serbia, claimed by neither side; becoming Terra Nullius since the independence of Croatia from Yugoslavia.
