Usage notes

Glasbury was historically in Radnorshire, north of the River Wye. Its former railway station, named Glasbury-on-Wye, was south of the river in Breconshire. The community is served by Glasbury and District Community Council, and that part of the village which is south of the river is in Gwernyfed community.
