Etymology
[edit]The atonal Hanyu Pinyin romanization of the Mandarin 奉賢/奉贤 (Fèngxián, literally “offer to the worthy”), a 1726 modification of the earlier name 齊賢/齐贤 (Qíxián, literally “equal to the worthy”).
