- (US, military, naval) Acronym of Fleet Operational Readiness Accuracy Check Site.: a facility for measuring the bearing and range accuracy of sensor systems on ships, submarines, and aircraft.
- The USN originally operated five FORACS ranges at Barking Sands, Hawaii, San Clemente Island, California, Fisher's Island, New York, Andros Island, Bahamas and St Croix, US Virgin Islands.
