Primarily American; less common in other English-speaking countries such as Australia, Canada, the UK, and Ireland where the letter z is pronounced "zed", not "zee". When this form of 'easy' is found in these countries, the 'Z' in 'EZ' pronounced as 'zee', like in the US.
