Usage notes

One of the six sacred mountains of the Navajo. Dził Náʼoodiłii is located in the center of Dinétah, so the Navajo people move around it. It was the original home of Áłtsé Hastiin (First Man) and Áłtsé Asdzą́ą́ (First Woman). Dził Náʼoodiłii is said to be suspended from the sky by sunbeams. See Diné Bahaneʼ.
