Domesday circuit (plural Domesday circuits)

  1. One of the six regions into which most of England was divided for the purposes of collating the Great Domesday Book, each of which were assigned commissioners for the purposes of conducting the Domesday survey.
  2. (sometimes) Also a seventh region, the returns from which were collated into the Little Domesday Book.
