[edit]- A taxonomic species within the family Primulaceae – florist's cyclamen, growing up to 32 cm preferrably on limestone in forests or thickets, native to the Middle East, of dark green cordate leaves, spatulate pink or white bracts, and a high saponin content, popular for ornaments but resisting crossbreeding.
