From Russian Коминте́рн (Komintérn), contracted abbreviation of Коммуни́сти́ческий Интернациона́л (Kommunístíčeskij Intɛrnacionál, Communist International), from коммунисти́ческий (kommunistíčeskij) + Интернациона́л (Intɛrnacionál).
