This disdain for AFAB folks daring to question their gender is also often seen in trutrans circles. So often trutrans folk seem to really, REALLY dislike transmascs who aren't solely binary trans men (and sometimes still even them).
On some level I get the trutrans bullshit because that’s really the only way trans people could get any help for many decades

Literally anyone who came out after the aughties is a transtrender according to the origins of the term (also overvalueing psych assesments is incredibly bad, and ironic considering I know some internet trutrans who don't have them either)
Genderlife was set up by Calpernia Adams in (I think) the late 90s. It was a hive of trutranses and chasers pretending to be trans women, but it was all we had.
and re this, it's telling that sometime between 2015 and 2017 the terf discourse shifted from "go deep stealth and get surgery please, that makes you a trutrans who is worthy of our respect instead of an agp transtrender" (respectability politics, which appeals to LGBs) [...] to "trans women need to be easily identifiable by an adams apple or pink triangle. surgery is mutilation. just detransition already" (eliminiationism, which appeals to the straights). it really did become a movement of, for and by heteros
also note here that by “keep that to yourself” i’m not saying you can never talk about it and you’re not a trutrans if you don’t want these things i’m saying stop calling other trans mens bodies gross or weird .
