1907, The American Florist, volume 28, issue 2 - page 859:
[…] a large bow of green melline was tied about the pot. […] The entire decorations were carried out in white and yellow and were very effective. The bride carried a shower bouquet of lily of the valley and Perle roses. The bridesmads' bouquets were of yellow roses tied with yellow melline.
