Yenshui is a fairly ordinary town situated between Tainan and Chiayi. However, during the Lantern Festival, on the 15th day of the first moon, the whole town goes insane.
To commemorate the hundred-year anniversary of eliminating the plague, citizens of Yenshui, Taiwan, held a celebration with fireworks.

It appears to be Thursday March 1 2018 sandwiched between 228 Holiday and Lantern festival Holiday making for what could be a long 5 day weekend for some people. (Yenshui seems to be used more than Yanshui for the event title even though event is in Yanshui)
