  అంగమె'ల్ల వదలి, యటు దంతములు నూ'డి, తనువు ముదిమిచేత దరుచు వడక; ముప్పు - తిప్పల బడి మోహంబు విడువడు.

  aṅgame'lla vadali, yaṭu dantamulu nū'ḍi, tanuvu mudimicēta darucu vaḍaka; muppu - tippala baḍi mōhambu viḍuvaḍu.

  Though the limbs all wither, the teeth drop out, and the body tremble greatly with decrepitude ; though they be infirm with age, cupidity will never leave man.
