Particularly: “L&S states that they were “so called from their king,” Cēphe͡us [from the Ancient Greek Κηφεύς (Kēpheús)], yet includes the entry for the demonym under its entry for cēphēnes (apian drones); is there some relation here? Also cf. the Ancient Greek Κηφῆνες (Kēphênes, Persians).”
