Applied to almost any word
[edit]Isn't this category problematic in that this suffix can be applied to almost any Spanish word? 71.66.97.228 03:30, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
- It cannot be applied to verbs. This category is for words that possess the suffix, not for words that can take the suffix. --EncycloPetey 03:31, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
Isn't this category problematic in that this suffix can be applied to almost any Spanish word that is not a verb? 71.66.97.228 03:35, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
- Please read all of my reply above. --EncycloPetey 03:36, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
I did, but do not understand about the possession versus the taking. To me it seems like the same thing. That is why I asked. 71.66.97.228 03:40, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
- The category will not contain words like (deprecated template usage) amarillo, because they don't end in the suffix -ísimo. Only words like (deprecated template usage) amarillísimo (that actually have the suffix) will be in the category. --EncycloPetey 04:34, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
