Mistakes in Etymology

@User:AryamanA Hi, there are many mistakes in the etymologies of the Rohingya words. These are added as derived from Bengali only because Rohingya's closely related language Chittagonian is ethnically considered as a dialect of Bengali. But the classification of the Bengali-Assamese languages is not final yet. They are divided into 2 groups: Kamarupi and Gauda. Rangpuri/Kamata and Assamese are added in Kamarupi and Bengali is added in Gauda. But others aren't yet added in any subgroup, they are just classified linguistically as Bengali-Assamese languages. So calling the Rohingya words as derived from Bengali is like calling any Bhojpuri word as derived from Hindi or Cantonese word from Mandarin. Sagir Ahmed Msa (talk) 12:44, 22 December 2017 (UTC)
