Category talk:Latin terms suffixed with -atus
Latest comment: 6 years ago by Barytonesis
@JohnC5 Hello. You added the following disclaimer: "For first conjugation perfect active and passive participles, please use the suffix -tus with the {{suffix}}
parameter pos=participle
". Should we replace {{{pos}}}
by {{{id}}}
, and create Category:Latin words suffixed with -tus (participle)? --Barytonesis (talk) 17:23, 5 December 2017 (UTC)
- @Barytonesis: I'm actually somewhat unclear as to the difference between
|pos=
and|id=
in this circumstance. —*i̯óh₁nC[5] 00:16, 6 December 2017 (UTC)- @JohnC5:
{{{pos}}}
is similar to{{{t}}}
: it adds a parenthesis with your translation/explanation behind the term.{{af|la|scrībō|-tus|pos2=participle suffix|t1=to write}}
→ this revision{{{id}}}
doesn't display anything, but it points to the right subcat.{{af|la|scrībō|-tus|id2=participle|t1=to write}}
→ this revision. --Barytonesis (talk) 14:22, 7 December 2017 (UTC)
- @Barytonesis: If you think it is the right idea, go for it. —*i̯óh₁nC[5] 05:58, 8 December 2017 (UTC)
- @JohnC5: I don't know, it's probably an usine à gaz more than anything else :p --Barytonesis (talk) 11:52, 8 December 2017 (UTC)
