This category seems redundant with Category:Kanji. Gwalla 23:38, 25 May 2005 (UTC)
- But this one seems to be the most appropriate among three candidates according to the current naming convention for categories. I'll try to put them in order... -- Tohru 12:03, 30 October 2005 (UTC)
- I've been going through the various single-character CJK entries adding Category:Chinese hanzi / Category:Japanese kanji / Category:Hanja, as appropriate. Someone else can start classifying them here by radical, if I don't do it first (probably won't try for a while, so please begin if you're interested). - dcljr 22:09, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
- Please see Wiktionary talk:Entries on Chinese characters#Sortkeys and subcats for single-character entries for more discussion along these lines. - dcljr 08:30, 25 January 2006 (UTC)

Navigation header
[edit]Hi. I've started a Template:CategoryTOC-radical to mirror the Template:CategoryTOC that's used in Category:English nouns to take care of our large category problem. I can't figure out why plainlinks isn't working tho. Millie 11:53, 25 January 2006 (UTC)

Adding HSK grade to entries
[edit]Just as Kanji entries do, the HSK level of the words' meanings could also be easily added automatically. Apparently, some words do have such a tag (see 不僅). --Backinstadiums (talk) 14:06, 28 October 2017 (UTC)
subtitle: what is a "Japanese kanji dictionary", or "Japanese kanji", anyway? (this is a rhetorical question)
