Criteria for inclusion unclear

I've noticed a number of JA entries falling into this category, and while I've gone over the IPA characters therein, it isn't clear why they're being included. If this has to do with specific Unicode code points, could those please be included in the category description? Visual inspection does not indicate any problems with these entries, such as ありがとう. ‑‑ Eiríkr Útlendi │^{Tala við mig} 17:24, 30 May 2016 (UTC)
