I suspect most or all of these (e.g. Sahne, Inspiration) are missing an intermediate step (like: OHG/MHG borrowed the OF term, and German inherited it from there; or: German borrowed a French term, which is from OF). - -sche (discuss) 12:35, 8 May 2018 (UTC)
- Old French ends at 1350 and modern German starts at 1400 (or 1350 at the very earliest). I'm going to empty the category by adding the intermediate forms. (Generally Middle French, Middle Dutch, Middle Low and/or Middle High German, I think.)
