There are a number of terms here which are not obsolete.

[edit]

Some of their uses might be obsolete, but that's way different (and there's a separate category for that "terms with obsolete uses" or something like that).

Abate, arm, baffle, battle, beaver, burnish, derelict, distract... and others.

I'm not a regular here (at all) so I don't want to touch this. But it's stone obvious that these shouldn't be in this category... is there any reason I shouldn't go and remove the incontrovertible ones? Maybe I'm missing something... Herostratus (talk) 01:19, 29 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Herostratus: The category in the first two cases is being generated by abate#Noun and arm#Verb respectively which are, in a sense, "obsolete terms". But this is obviously not an ideal situation. I suggest you make a post to the WT:Beer Parlour. Ioaxxere (talk) 02:13, 29 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
