The regular English third-person singular indicative present forms are formed by adding -(e)s to the infinitive. These are formed by adding that -(e)s but omitting precedent letters (has), or they have another origin than the infinitive (is), or they do not use an s at all (wot), or they are the same as the infinitive (ceebs).
