Category:Ancient Greek proper nouns derived by accent shift

From Wiktionary, the free dictionary

This category contains proper nouns that are derived from other types of words by shift of accent, in which an accent on the ultima is replaced with a recessive accent: for example, γλαυκός (glaukós) /ɡlau̯kós/ to Γλαῦκος (Glaûkos) /ɡláu̯kos/. (Here, the transcriptions are for the Attic dialect in the Classical period, in which there was a pitch accent.)
