[edit]Inherited from Old Anatolian Turkish جناب (cenab), from Arabic جَنَاب (janāb), suffixed with possessive suffixes. Compare Turkish cenap, Azerbaijani cənab.

Usage notes
[edit]- Sometimes plural Canabiniz is used when referring to a single person to indicate a greater manner of respect, which then makes the plural Canabinizler.
