    • 1983 May 23, Willi Kusche, “COMAL claims are questionable”, in InfoWorld, volume 5, number 21, page 39:
      Mr. Lindsey's letter in Vol. 5, No. 11 made some misleading claims for COMAL. He stated that COMAL, like BASIC, is free. Well, back in October of 1981, a price of $49.95 for a COMAL starter package was mentioned in Robert Baker's PET-pourri column in Microcomputing.
